Announcing our partnership with Rootly

At DX, we help engineering leaders measure developer productivity and get recommendations on how to improve. Accordingly, our customers frequently ask us for our perspectives on best-in-class tools that can help them deliver improvements.

To provide objective recommendations, we partner with forward-thinking vendors to study and measure the effectiveness of their products. By leveraging measurements like the DX Core 4 and DXI, we can draw a direct line between use of specific tools and developer productivity.

Partnering with Rootly

With this focus in mind, we’re excited to announce our latest partnership with Rootly. Rootly is an all-in-one incident management platform that simplifies the entire incident response lifecycle, from alerting to retrospectives—all seamlessly within Slack. Built for cross-functional teams, Rootly’s intuitive, user-friendly design empowers everyone, not just engineers, to collaborate and resolve incidents quickly without switching platforms.

We recently launched a Rootly integration to help our customers analyze and glean insights from their Rootly data.

We are now deepening our partnership with the goal of studying the impact Rootly has on engineering organizations. Through this partnership, Rootly customers will gain unique access to DX’s measurement and benchmarking capabilities to help understand and optimize incident response processes.

Like DX, Rootly is committed to helping its customers improve the overall developer experience and make better data-driven decisions. We’re excited to partner with them on this shared mission.

What’s next

We’ve already begun conducting studies with organizations to analyze the impact they’re seeing using Rootly. Over the coming months, we will share our early findings and insights from our research.

Whether you’re already a Rootly customer or are currently evaluating it, we’d love to help you measure the impact it’s having on your teams. Please contact us today to learn more about how DX can support your efforts and help you make the most of Rootly’s capabilities.
