“Listen to your customers!” This advice for Platform engineering teams seems plain and simple, but implementing it is complex. Teams run interviews, office hours, and embed in product teams, and still feel they would benefit from a deeper understanding of engineering’s needs.

This is particularly common with developer portals: platform teams could use a better understanding of what pain points could be solved with the help of their portals. At the same time, they often lack metrics to track the impact that their portals are having.

Our newly released integration with Compass was designed to help. With the integration, Compass users can identify top pain points and empower every team to improve with individualized insights, all from within Compass.
