Frontline engineering managers are swimming in data. Between dashboards, reports, and review cycles, the signal is there, but finding it takes time most managers don’t have.
Today, we’re announcing DX Pulse—a proactive alerting layer built specifically for frontline engineering managers. Pulse brings your team data in DX directly to you, so you can act on what matters without hunting for it.
Every week, Pulse delivers a single alert that rolls up the metrics and signals that matter most for your team, delivered directly to Slack, Teams, or WebEx. Your weekly Pulse alert shows what shifted, what needs attention, and what’s trending across your team’s data—proactively, without you having to go looking for it. Whether you are a leader of one team or a vertical in an organization with many teams, Pulse intelligently surfaces areas that you need to drill into.
When a Pulse alert surfaces something worth investigating, you can ask follow-up questions directly to DX AI to understand the underlying drivers, build action plans, and analyze the alert in context of both your qualitative and quantitative data within DX.
Engineering managers can activate Pulse through the new DX AI sidebar, or by being invited by an organization admin. Once enabled, managers will start receiving weekly alerts immediately. EMs can then customize their alert content, cadence, and preferences to choose which signals matter most to them and their teams.
